Public Criticism Forces Google to Restore Right to be Forgotten Links

By Cheryl Kemp Google received a lot of criticism after it began removing links last week to comply with the May European Court of Justice decision granting the right to be forgotten on the Internet. A flurry of articles debating whether Google is censoring the Internet were posted as it began link removal. As of the end of June, Google had received over 70,000 requests.
